The front entrance to Hayleys Corner is to be found on Vicarage Lane.

Visitors arriving by car may park on the gravel drive at the back of the house accessed via Limmer Lane. Please park facing the wall as close as possible to the house to enable room for two vehicles.

The front gate has the Visit Britain sign on it and is set in a long flint wall. Entering through this gate leads to a short pathway under an arbour of wild rose to a second gate. Pass through the second gate into the garden and up to the front door. At night a courtesy light will illuminate the front door.

There is a path around the side of the house leading to a private garden on the east side which is not for visitors. Guests are warmly invited to enjoy the south facing garden where there are chairs and lawn to sit on.

Inside the house there is a 40 inches wide staircase with 21 steps each at 6 inches height leading to the bedrooms upstairs. There are three timer switches on the stairwell which will stay on for a few minutes to enable visitors to find their way at night.

Or ring a bell kept on the landing at the top of the stairs, any of these methods will alert the proprietor who will then come and help.
